Why “Scute”?

A scute is one of the protective scales that make up a turtle’s shell. Just as these small, overlapping plates create an impenetrable armor for the turtle, we believe that small, consistent security habits create a strong defense for your digital life.

The name represents our philosophy: protection doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s about building good habits, one step at a time.
